This informative, life-saving training will give participants knowledge of the following topics:

• Overview of the opioid epidemic
• Signs and symptoms of overdose
• The overdose reversal drug Naloxone (Narcan)
• How to administer Narcan

All attendees will receive free Narcan spray.

What is Narcan?
Narcan (naloxone nasal spray) blocks or reverses the effects of opioid medication. This nasal spray is used to treat a narcotic overdose in an emergency situation.

QPR training is like CPR for mental health. This training is for anyone, including parents, friends, teachers, social workers, in a position to recognize that someone may be contemplating suicide. After completing QPR training you will be able to:

• Recognize suicide warning signs
• Understand several ways to initiate conversation
• Persuade and refer someone to the appropriate resources
