Overcoming Adversity & Building Resilience
Join us as Dr. Scott Grant covers how what happens to us in childhood affects us into adulthood. This will help parents understand how their own childhood experiences, whether positive or adverse, have an impact on their health, well-being, and parenting style. We will discuss how children’s experiences at home stay with them into adulthood and affect their future families. Finally, we will turn our attention to this vital question: How can we raise kids to be resilient and thrive in our modern world? Dr. Grant will share the tools parents need in their toolboxes to raise resilient, thriving adults. There will be time for discussion and Q&A to discuss common challenges that arise in raising children.
Dr. Scott Grant is a husband and father who works as a pediatrician in Southeast, MI. In 2021, he created Docs2das, a podcast to help men find joy in fatherhood, and to become experts in their own health and the health of their children.
